A-Z to Kick off Stress!

I am writing this as it has been a lonnggg… time working and promoting my recently launched book – The Night I Woke Up  and I want a break!

But before that, I want to share with you how do I keep my stress levels down..

So let’s see how easy it is to manage stress!

Here we go!

Always take time for yourself, at leat 30 minutes per day. This ought to be the time devoted completely  to you when you sit and reflect.

Be aware of your own stress metre. Know when to step back  and cool down. Learn to let your hair down and relax.

Concentrate on controlling your own situation, without bothering to control everybody else.

Daily exercise will not only burn off the stress chemicals, but shall also keep you healthy.

Eat lots of fresh fruits annd vegetables, enough grain and drink plenty of water.

Forgiveness is divine. Learn to forgive others. Don’t hold grudges and be tolerant. Not everyone is as capable as you. Be good enough to forgive someone, but not stupid enough to trust them again.

Gain perspective on newer things. Learn to attach not more than due importance to any issue.

Hugs, kisses and laughter should define your life more than anything else.

Identify stressors and plan to deal with them better next time. You are too important to allow anyone or anything tie you down with stresses.

Judge your own performance realistically.

Keep your attitude positive. Your positive outlook will influence outcomes and lead you to success.

Give up alcohol, drugs and other stimulants.

Manage your money well. Seek advice and save at least 10 per cent of what you earn.

No is a word you need to learn to phrase differently.

Outdoor activities by yourself or with friends and family can be a great way to relax.

Play your favourite music rather than watching television.

You see, you have to keep a balance.

Quit smoking right away. Smoking is suicide in small dosage.

Relationships are divine.  Learn to listen more and talk less.

Sleep well. Allow plenty of ventilation.

Treat yourself once a week with a mssage, dinner out and a movie. You need some pampering too. Moderation is the key.

Understand things from the others’s point of view. Empathy and sympathy keep you human.

Verify information from the source before reacting. This would always help your relationships and make you more mature.

Worry less and less andd less.

Expressions are important. Make a regular retreat to your favourite holiday haunt.

Yearly goal setting: plan what you want to achieve based on your priorities in your career, relationships, etc.

Zest for life is the quest for life. Each day is a gift. Learn to smile and be thnkful. Always know that you are a part of a bigger picture.

Do tell me how you liked it!

Until next blog, Cya ❤
